DOTW: Berry’s Piña Colada

You ever think about how they made everyone’s favorite frozen drinks before there were blenders? Before they became popular at bars and in homes across the country? Before manufacturing figured out how to essentially sell us nonalcoholic frozen drink slushy mixes that just need alcohol to be added? The answer is they didn’t. They made the real version of the drink. The one I delivered to guest when they asked for a daiquiri, margarita or piña colada without specifying they wanted it frozen. Speaking of piña colada’s, its summer time, I made a very berry infused white rum and decided what better way to use it than to make a classic piña colada.
